I ordered takeout from Beijing Tasty House and was impressed with the experience. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, making the process smooth and pleasant. If you are looking for authentic Peking duck or spicy Chinese dishes, this place has it all. I appreciated the attention to detail in packaging. I asked for double wrapping with plastic bags, and they made sure everything was well wrapped and secure. They even placed the heavier dishes at the bottom to prevent the boxes from getting squeezed. Highly recommended for delicious, authentic Chinese cuisine. Just be aware that finding parking in the lot can be a bit of a headache.
I recently dined at Beijing Tasty House and had a delightful experience with a variety of dishes. The Traditional Fried Pork in Scoop was savory and perfectly seasoned, making it an excellent start to the meal. The rice served alongside was well-cooked and complemented the flavors of the pork. The Stewed Pig Liver was another standout dish, tender and rich with an authentic Beijing-style flavor. The combination of textures and flavors in this dish was particularly impressive. We also tried the Eggplant with Pepper, Tomato, and Potato, which offered a unique and satisfying mix of vegetables. The eggplant was especially well-prepared, absorbing the delicious sauce. The St. Noodles with Green Bean provided a great balance to the meal with its simple yet flavorful profile. The noodles were cooked to perfection, and the green beans added a nice crunch. Overall, every dish was delightful, showcasing traditional Beijing flavors with great execution. I look forward to returning and trying more from their extensive menu.
Great Duck - 3 different ways! Greatly enjoyed our triple Duck lunch at the Beijing Tasty House! The service is also very good and the everyone is very friendly! Check out the photos!
Located in a busy mall, parking is ample most of the time. The place inside is well spaced and comfortable. Service is good, the take out is always packed well and there are no spills. The food is amazing, one of the only places where the take out is as good as the in person dishes. The spicy chicken cold chop dishes is my favorite, the spicy adds kick but doesn't just go in your mouth burning. The lazy dragon roll is a unique bun that I have not seen any place have, it is a must have if you are into buns. Really the food is authentic and so good you can't go wrong. Overall this is a place that is worth a regular visit.
Personally I.. don't know much about Beijing and their food but enough to jibber jabber for two minutes before the other realizes i'm full of shit. Perhaps literally, but I digress. The food, in all honesty, was this __ close to crossing the line of too much grease. No thanks woks that don't wash. But all the ingredients, even vegetarian dishes are meaty in the best of ways. I felt like I needed a massive wash with car wash hose yet at the same time dreaming of those candied yams. That kind of sticks in your teeth but doesn't stop you from trying to wrangle that hard candy in. Prawns were excellent and beautifully glazed. Steamed buns as one of Beijing's staples is brilliantly executed. The menu itself is.. simply over extensive but love the marker and whiteboard system. Eco friendly and attentive service.
There are plenty of parking spaces but can get really packed depending on time and day. We tried their Beijing Duck and it was really good! You'd have to order ahead of time to reserve their duck. The Beijing Duck was crispy and flavorful. We also ordered other dishes and they were also good and yummy -- I don't remember what other dishes we had ordered. Overall, it's a must-try for their Beijing Duck! Recommendation(s): - Beijing Duck Service: 4/5 Tip(s): - Call in to order their Beijing Duck ahead of time - Plenty of parking spaces -- but can get packed depending on time and day - Book spots in advance as their dinner times can get packed
If you are looking for some authentic Beijing dishes. Look no further! Few weeks back, i was in town for another quick vacation. and I again, was looking for some authentic Chinese food. Being in Rowland Heights, This is a very difficult decision, because there are mountains of choices. As someone from Hong Kong, i opted for something from a different providence. and then this restaurant caught my eyes. Located in a major food plaza in Rowland Heights, the storefront of this restaurant is just average. Once i was seated though, the food is a different story. Its offers very flavorful authentic Beijing dishes. We order a lamb dishes, a traditional veggie along with riches. and it was a good meal. The right amount of spice mixed well with the lamb meat flavor. The veggie dish was on point. Overall, i would give it a 4/5.
Super authentic very delicious food. The restaurant is nothing fancy, not much of an ambience, but you're really not going there for the ambience. This restaurant is located in a small strip mall, very simple and small. We've been here several times for lunch, the food is why we come here. Also the service is very attentive, and ran by a cute local family. The menu is extensive, and the skills of the chef is quite impressive. They specialize in northern Chinese cuisine, and everyone that I have it here with has recognized and complimented on the authenticity. The prices are decent for this area. Porsche sizes also comparable. Overall great experience.
